If you just got an iDevice recently or just switched from an Android device, you may like to read about these simple hidden tricks for an easier use of your iDevice!

App Switcher

Well, what is an easier way to open your browser to look for something..will you go back to your homescreen and look for it?
Well, if Safari was already opened then simply double tap the home button and there you go..you'll see all you recently opened apps.

Close Broken App

Many Apps break which is normal, but what do you usually do..Reset your iDevice?
Well, you don't have to do so..just double tap your home button and press the app which is bothering you for couple of seconds, then tap the "-" on it.
Go to your homescreen and relaunch your App and it'll open so normally!

Hidden App Switcher Buttons

To get the app switcher bar, simply double tap the homescreen button and instead of swiping left to see the apps history, just swipe right and there you go!
This bar lets you control your tracks whether to pause, play, skip and so on!

Notification Center

There is a running list of your recent notification so you can easily go to Apps which needs your attentions such as any unread messages or widgets as the weather and so on.
Simply to bring it down, swipe down from the very top of the display, and you can adjust it form the Settings - Notifications.

Camera Shortcut

In the iOS, you can easily launch the camera App without unlocking your iDevice then going to your homescreen and launching the camera app.
You can do so by double tapping the home button from the lock screen.

Here are some bonus tricks:
  • To take a screenshot in any app, press the home and power button simultaneously for just a second. The photo will be stored in your camera roll. Holding the buttons too long will reset your device, so stop once the display flashes.
  • In nearly all applications, you can scroll to the top of long pages (such as long websites, or long emails) by tapping the status bar (read: the bar with the clock.)
  • Use iCloud. Seriously. It takes a second or two to set up (2/3 people I’ve watched setup iPhones recently skipped it), but it’s absolutely worth it if only for the photo/contact backup.
