As we know, many people faced a problem when they upgraded their iPhone 4 to the iOS 5, where their baseband was changed to 04.11..and many people depend on unlocking their iDevices to make them work on other carriers!

There were some lucky ones who got the time to downgrade from the latest iOS 5 to iOS 4.3.5 with a 4.10 baseband then unlocking their iDevices..but Apple later on stopped signing iOS 4.3.5 on October the 18th.
Which means, that you can downgrade to this specific firmware without any change in the baseband..
You have to keep in mind....Many people think if they downgraded their firmware, then this will downgrade their baseband..but this is wrong!
Anyhow, it is possible to get your old baseband IF you have saved your earlier SHSH blobs..you can scroll down to read more about the SHSH blobs!
And as we reported yesterday, the Egyptian Hacker Sherif Hashim is working on unlocking these basebands, you can read more about it here!
There is TinyUmbrella which saves your SHSH and sends it to the iTunes restore or it fixes the iTunes error and manage the recovery mode..
After doing so and iTunes checks your device and its blobs it'll get a message of its being finely checked before and it doesn't restore it to any newer update.
