Developers paying thousands of dollars to get to the top 25 Apps!!

Apple has been doing their best to minimize and not stop these things because they see it has no problem..
But...have you ever known most of the top ranked apps are nothing but fake!!

Well, this is all started in the TouchArcade forums, where a member was trying to find a way to promote his Apps and he found one of the cheapest ways costing about $5,000..




Walter Kaman mentioned in the forum:

That's when he let loose the BIGGEST FRAUD ever, he said he had outsourced someone to build him a bot farm and the bots will automatically download his clients' apps and drive up their rankings!!! He even told me that even though I might see my app climb up the app store, they aren't "REAL" at first until it gets to the top and that's when REAL HUMAN players will start seeing my app and play it. 
......
As an indie developer, this totally demoralizes my passion to continue making apps for this platform, knowing that at the end of the day, all that matters is $5,000 and a bunch of bots..


As you can see below...these marked apps where developers using such a way of promoting their apps..




Moreover, one of the developers who uses legal methods, John Casasanta, said to the NY Times:
The App Store is in dire need of reform,”...


But Apple takes precautions to avoid these and they already removed some apps and according to TechCrunch, the Siri iPhone app is still usable, but that Apple is planning to kill the app’s servers
